Quilting for Beginners: Intro to Quilting with Johanna Masko This course is for sewing enthusiasts who want to dip their toes into quilting for the first time. This fast and easy baby quilt project is sure to become your go-to gift for the new little ones in your life. The scaled-up proportions of a classic “Economy Block” make this quilt top quick to assemble, and a simplified edge treatment leaves lots of time to spend on your quilting. Our short, 3-part class is a perfect entry project into the beautiful world of quilts! ***This class will run for 3 weeks on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm - 9:30pm *** Class 1: Wednesday March 26th , 2025 Class 2: Wednesday April 2nd, 2025 Class 3: Wednesday April 9th, 2025 You can see more of Johanna's work here: https://www.johannamasko.com/ Material Requirements: Upon registration, students will receive a detailed materials list, including required fabric, notions, and other essentials. The list provides quantities based on your chosen quilt size. Not all materials are needed for the first class, so you can gather them as you go—no need to worry about having everything upfront! Please refer to the emailed list after registering for this class. A sewing machine with a walking foot is required for this class. All notions can be purchased from the Sewing Machine Sales & Repair Centre with a 15% student discount. Thank you and Happy Sewing!
